Lorri C. Keeney
President/CEO
Lorri Keeney spent a lifetime in the home industry with nearly two decades in the Home Inspection business, following almost 10 years in executive relocations worldwide. You won't find that anywhere else in the Yellow Pages!
InspectHomes4U, the home inspection company she brought to Kentucky a little over a year ago, has been a blessing to buyers, sellers, and warranty holders because it really is the A Gold Standard in home inspections.
As important as what went into InspectHomes4U, which we'll tell you more about it in a moment, is what comes out.
Sure, clients get reports that outstandingly thorough, easy to read and loaded with digital photos to help see everything using state-of-the-art technology that prints photos. No one needs to tell you that lots of little details add up to trouble-free closings! You will not get a better report. Period!
Reports also start with a Positive Aspects Summary Page on top of the usual summary of issues and recommendations. Clients don't just hear criticism; they get a full and factual picture (yup, with pictures!). Sometimes even the best report does not get the job done, so InspectHomes4U always is there for follow-up. If there's a problem, either the site inspector or the supervisor will help the parties through the choices to solve it any day.
In today's argumentative, litigation-prone world, that's the best protection for brokers and agents as well as buyers and sellers. (No broker can defend a lawsuit by saying they told their client not to have a home inspection, or discouraged it. On the other hand, having a professional inspection is a real defense. Ask her more. Lorri thinks all that is basic for a good job. You could say Service is her middle name. Or maybe it's a Skill. (Or, maybe it's a Care, since her middle initial is a C.) She even helped develop the software InspectHomes4U uses!
Today, Lorri sits on the Board of Directors of KREIA (the Kentucky Real Estate Inspectors Association), our state's leading professional group for home inspectors and chairs its Education Committee. InspectHomes4U, her Kentucky inspection company, provides unparalleled service to Kentuckians. And her Professional Learning Institute has turned out its first class of home inspectors, ready for Kentucky licensing.
Lorri started in home inspections

In
1993, when she formed ProChek in Connecticut. ProChek still dominates the market, handling over 80% of home inspections, with a 98% closure rate. InspectHomes4U takes the lessons of ProChek and turns them into Kentucky's cutting edge home inspection service the product of years of hands-on experience;

Lorri founded and led
USHIA (the United States Homes Inspection Academy) a few years later, to make sure inspectors had the training both to excel and to get state licenses. It was among the first home inspector training academies certified by Connecticut and Massachusetts.

Before that, for 8 years, Lorri
managed executive relocations worldwide for Cendant Corp, the world's leading relocation operation. She has been a member of the Employment Relocation Council (AERC) and spoke at many ERC conferences. When she saw the data those execs got in their home buys, she knew it would be great for everyone.

Today, Lorri leads the Professional Learning Institute (APLI), in line to be among the first home inspector training academies in Kentucky.

InspectHomes4U owns its National Radon Safety Board (ANRSB) accredited radon analytical laboratory and her husband, Steve, is a NRSB certified Radon Measurement Specialist. No faster radon tests anywhere!

Now, Lorri co-hosts the Home Show, on 1080 AM, every Monday morning from 8-9 am, often sharing the venue with agents and brokers.
Lorri's InspectHomes4U is a FULL SERVICE 24/7 home inspection company, available in any pinch, and inspecting 7 days a week. It's professionals do better than anyone, because of their deep training and regular supervision, both in inspections and in limiting future liability by reducing the risk in any real estate transaction.
Lorri stands in a long line of Louisville professionals, including her husband, Steve, the nationally recognized attorney (who serves as General Counsel to InspectHomes4U, available for all clients) who was the subject of the true crime detective book Death Benefit by David Heilbroner (Random House/Harmony) and the MCA Universal movie by the same name. Lorri's late father-in-law, Dr. Arthur Keeney, was Dean of the UofL Medical School for many years and her mother-in-law, and best friend, Dr. Virginia Keeney, was the oldest professor of medical ethics (at UofL Medical School, where she had been one of the first female graduates) at an American medical school for several years before her retirement at 80 a few years ago.
The spirit of teamwork, professionalism and integrity brings all of us together in helping achieve the American Dream. Let a pro like Lorri lend you a hand today!
